Ritter says don't trust us, we're liars

* A speech given on September 17th in New Haven by ex-UN weapons inspector to Iraq -- he was kicked out of his job because his findings didn't corroborate with the US' political agenda (his successor didn't find any weapons of mass destruction either but anyway). I was searching the web for more info on a rumor here that the US is planning for an imminent strike on Iran, and came upon this gem at a Q&A during this talk.
* 'A second person asked Ritter what he could tell his high-school-aged children. Ritter responded, "I have two girls, 12-year-old twins. We need to make this world safe for them and their children. When I speak at high schools around the nation, I tell the students that my generation has failed them. Yes, we have failed them. They should not listen to us, because we have created a world of permanent war, and because we lie to them on a regular basis. Do not trust your government, I tell them. Trust yourself. Question authority. Take responsibility for the world. Take action. Only you can save the world." '. Read the entire article here.
