* For the 5th consecutive month, Naviblog FM has been increasing the number of its fans. Now for the facts. March 2006: 5,000 listeners, April 2006: 10,000 listeners, and last month a staggering 15,000 listeners have tuned in to Naviblog FM!! First and foremost, we would like to thank all the Navibloggers across the world who have tuned in to our modest FM station.
This last month saw an especially strong performance by resident DJ Mike, with his soul-funk mix "Soulful Summer 06". Due to overwhelming popularity, Naviblog FM temporarily shot to no.4 on the Shoutcast Radio Station ranking. 15,000 listeners translates to an average of 500 listeners a day. Apart from the above, we also had our Hong Kong DJ DJ Weewhale, with his Naviblog-exclusive "Junction mix", generating a lot of interest with his unmistakeably eclectic cool beats. A new appearance by DJ Mandali with his new "2020Percussive" mix took us on a trip from 90s drum and bass through abstract jazz permeated by percussive sounds all round, released with an (as far as I know) industry-first animated widget. Not to forget DJ Eriko's "An Alien in Paris" mix took us into the colourful Paris sounds of mid-20th century... The competition is only starting to heat up in this battle of the DJs.
Stay tuned to Naviblog FM!! To listen, or for more info on the mix, see here.
