Mandali presents the new Naviblog mix, "GoldenNewGeneration"

With a year of Naviblog behind us, I wanted to create an uncompromising and cutting-edge mix to tide us over into the next year. The GoldenNewGeneration mix is a look to the future, where people we will be, where people have come from, where people are headed.

A mix in three parts, a first trip takes you beyond yourself as French rapper extraordinaire MC Solaar once said by "prenant de l'avance en prenant du recul" (taking a step back to get ahead), with a couple of tracks fusing the dreamy breakbeats of LTJ Bukem and the harder sounds of The Orb and Autechre. Watch out for a personal revelation here: the timeless We Are the Beautiful by Chapterhouse. Part two moves into a hard-edged house sound, souly as it is modernistic, with people like DJ Mazi, Halo Varga and a great track by Demarkus Lewis on Soul Heaven records. Part three chills you out with sounds from Tosca or Govinda, not forgetting Lu & Hoo's great Shelter remix by Elegia.
