* The undiscovered and until now mythical continent of Mu has reappeared... not in the mid-Pacific, but in Google Earth, clearly visible in this shot taken today with version 4.0.1565 around 4pm Japan Time.
While searching today for some satellite shots of Hong Kong for the upcoming Red Herring conference I will be attending next week, I found what may be a misplaced glitch - but pretty massive in size - engulfing a wide north-south strip from Papua New Guinea to Taiwan (click here for a better view). Hovering at approximately 5000 miles above sea level, and taking in the scenery before zooming into Hong Kong, Mu appeared on the radar screen as if it had never left in the first place!
Definitely a discovery. Wonder if there are any other lost continents out there... lost in the exosphere.
