Shaving

* 24h later and after a lot of shaving, I have brought the budget back down to -500,000yen over the year. This includes new items such as power backup, tape backup and test mobile phone, and only 2 servers instead of 3 with all software + server AntiVirus software. The first server will act as application and web server, and the second as database server.
* The only problem remains with the server software licenses... the question is whether we need another server license. If we do, that's +900k, ie. over budget by 400k yen again. You see, if the physically single processor is set up to run as 2 virtual processors, the vendors will charge for two: and this is a technicality that costs a lot of money. If no go and I can't force the chip to run as a single processor only, may have to back down to an earlier processor model just to save costs.
