Day 2 of fair, Naviblog booth goes crazy

Just an update after two days at the fair,

To be honest, I didn't think it would be like this, but just as the day was wrapping up at Tokyo's International Forum at 4.30pm... Our booth was full of business persons swarming around us, trying to talk to Naviblog's 4 members of staff!!

I wish I was exaggerating here, but people have been falling over each other to get a glimpse of our new Naviblog Mobile service, starting yesterday Jan.17th.

By 11am today, I had run out of namecards, and had to rush an extra batch of one hundred by bike delivery to the exhibition hall to keep up with demand. By 3pm, the 600 company brochures we had had delivered at 11am the previous day were gone, and we were trying to appease newcomers by showing them the Beta service on the 4 phone terminals, and telling people we would send them information by post. An emergency batch of 300 brochures were taxied over by our printing company just in time for a final onslaught at 4.00-5.00pm.

I cannot count (actually, I am still debating whether we are in the 200 or 300 region) the number of bankers, venture capitalists and other assorted manufacturers who wanted to know more on how to tie up or how to invest in Naviblog, as we kick off our expansion towards the planned - I did say planned, as in "this is a future forecast and may or may not occur in the said timeframe" - Naviblog IPO in 2009/2010.

Well, more on that towards the weekend when I get a breather. Last day tomorrow, need to get some rest.
