Naviblog Mobile creates moblog mashup!

* Naviblog releases a mashup of its popular Naviblog Mobile Beta service, plotting the last 200 moblogs from our Naviblog Mobile service. As opposed to many other services, Naviblog Mobile's input is only accepted from location-aware mobile phones, in order to ensure the authenticity of blogs and their location. The service is currently only available in the Tokyo area, but will be expanded to other regions in the future as our service grows... Join our moblog community here! It's free!

* For those not in the know, "mashups" are described as highly interactive webpages, where location-tagged data is displayed on a map. These web-only mashups have been used for anything from tracking fedex packages on a realtime map to the course of a marathon in New York, from location-tagged Flickr photos to downtown foodie guides. The main benefit with these mashups is that they are very light programs that run mostly off your web browser, as opposed to going to search for a website everytime you click the page. This is a very popular technology approach called AJAX, pushed most prominently by Google and Yahoo, among others.
