DJ Mandali kicks off the Poolside Sessions

Imagine the sun, the surf, the yachting, the diving, the fruit picking, the translucent blue of the sea... As the afternoon wears on, you slowly head back to the condo, get showered down for the evening and head out to the Poolside party. This week, Naviblog FM offers you a latin summer-drenched mix of soul, house and percussions. As the party takes place in two separate areas, the Clubhouse and the Rock Pool, DJ Mandali spins two separate mixes to fit the mood of each arena. The Clubhouse Pool Mix takes advantage of the larger area for an unstoppably danceable vibe going from jazzy performances by United Future Organization and Nuspirit Helsinki, to sweltering house tracks by Jay-J, Fred Everything, and Michael Moog. Great latin sounds from Montayo and the Big Sur Highway, rounded up by soothing Blue Six with her enrapturing All I Need, just lets you catch your breath. Getting too hot? Just jump in the pool like everyone else, dry out and stomp the ground with your feet again. No escaping this sound!

The Rock Pool Mix offers a breather from the heaving crowds of the Clubhouse area, with a few souly releases from hot new London label, Soul Heaven. In a more intimate setting, with people lounging and grooving on the grass and around the pool sipping drinks in the cool evening light, tracks to look out for include a warming performance by Open Door, great grooves from Jinadu, a wink to the Paris crowd with Julius Papp's "Music Saved my Life", and some eclectica featuring rude boys Tim Paris/Mike Ladd "scraping the skies"...

Tune in to Naviblog FM, we just might have a few invites left...
