* NAVIBLOG was interviewed a week ago by Japanese government-sponsored entrepreurship organization and website "DreamGate", via their contributor Kenichi Nakaya who publishes their popular "possibilities for mobile business" section.
"They already call him 'The Genius'...", he says, according to what people in the press tell him about me. But overall this article is a short note served as an appetiser for a longer, upcoming and one-on-one article based on our 2h interview at our Tokyo offices. The first instalment of a 3-article piece on the future of mobile technologies, Nakaya also talks about a mobile business conference sponsored by DreamGate, and business leaders' responses to typical mobile business worries such as the difficulty of building a mobile business on an ad revenue model, or how to start a mobile business with virtally no startup capital. Watch the Dreamgate site for more on Naviblog in the following weeks.
At the same time, at the end of a recent client meeting the CEO of a soon-to-be user-driven mobile travel startup tells me "oh, I saw you in a book the other day, pretty nice". I was soon to find out that the book Mobile 2.0, released by IT/business book publisher Impress Japan about 4 weeks ago, featured us in their "mobile phone as ubiquitous media" chapter, noting "... the benefits of being a first-mover will be considerable". Find it at any good bookstore in Japan, or here at Amazon with an average customer rating of 5 stars!
