* Naviblog was featured on Japan's largest news site on the web, at Yahoo News Japan, following a talk by Tokyo's prestigious Keio University on the future of mobile usage. The article made the Yahoo headlines on Feb 25, after articles appeared in what are two of the most read IT news sites in Japan - especially itmedia.co.jp which specifically focused on Naviblog functionality as opposed to other location-based mobile communication service providers - and Ktai Impress which reported at a more generalist level.
* Facing industry giants such as Navitime's "NaviWalk", Sirius' "Activo" and KDDI's "Duoblog" services, Naviblog came out best all around in 3 categories of mobile usability, although speakers noted room for improvement on the SNS capability. In a letter to the Keio research group that conducted the research, we will emphasize that a future version of Naviblog (v1.3) will include SNS/friend-of-a-friend (or FOAF, for those in the know) search capability, making it the undisputed leader in its field. (see the Yahoo headline here).
