* Japanese internet service provider @NetHome has teamed up with Nagano prefecture Suzuka Town's cable TV station to offer ("push download") automated mail to your mobile, when you pass kindergarden bus pickup points in the town of Suzuka. You also have the benefit of map services showing your current location on a map.
* However as mail is sent out as you pass the location, if you are not at the exact location you can only find out your proximity to such a location by using the separate map functionality. And going back and forth around the same location trying to find the stop, means the user would receive a number of identical emails.
* We imagine that for low-density location information services this setup may work, but for more high-density location info services such as NAVIBLOG, the number of emails would quickly become overwhelming and confusing. So from the point of view of both usability and scalability, location information display is better served using maps as opposed to automated email downloads.
